Streamlines biogas production in the Baltics

Biogas is formed when organic material such as plants, manure and household waste is broken down by bacteria in an oxygen-free environment. But today's anaerobic digesters are not as efficient as they could be. This is something Bioprocess Control is remedying.

Bioprocess Control is a Swedish company that develops products and services designed to streamline the biogas production process. It's about utilising the maximum capacity of the digester, without the risk of overloading. Because the processes are optimised, you can extract more biogas from the raw materials faster.

Exported innovative technology

The company's main product AMPTS II - Automatic Methane Potential Test System - is lab equipment for measuring how much energy you can potentially extract from various types of organic biomass. The ideas and the innovative technology have already been exported to more than 35 countries, and have now also been launched in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Boost interest in biogas

A successful launch of the new technology among demonstration customers in the Baltic region has increased awareness of the potential of different biogas materials. This in turn will boost confidence and interest in investing in biogas projects, which will ultimately reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.
